An Invitation To Train Your Subconscious Mind

I believe that you can raise your energetic vibration if you train your subconscious mind to work for you rather than against you.  There’s a simple thought process: What you believe in becomes reality.

For example, if you want to be an expert at what you do you need to convince your subconscious mind that ‘being an expert at what you do’ is what you want.  To do that you need to reaffirm your mind through your thoughts, actions and behaviours.

One thought of doubt here and there is fine.  But if you have a self doubt track playing on repeat in your mind, then that is not going to get you to where you want to be.  You will create habits that are limiting and that in turn will create experiences that are limiting.

Our subconscious mind controls our emotions and beliefs.  It doesn’t matter what you tell it, it will believe it to be true.  If you tell it that you’re not good enough, then it won’t find ways to get you off the couch and into a gym or eating healthier food.  It just won’t do it.  But if you tell your subconscious mind and continuously affirm that you are good enough, that you are loved through actions and that’s that affirm that belief, then it will work with you and find so many ways to nourish your mind, body and soul.

The next thing you need to know and figure out is: What limiting beliefs have been lurking in your subconscious mind all these years?

How To Pull Yourself Into Alignment

I’ve had clients who end up berating themselves or feeling bad because they don’t complete all of their morning or evening rituals each day.

Yes, it’s great to have your daily rituals to connect with your soul – but if it becomes shrouded with pressure, stress and anxiousness….then it isn’t doing what it is supposed to. 

For me, when it comes to my daily ritual I commit to one thing.  And one thing only.  If I find myself with more time on my hands, then I will do other intuitive activities.  But also, as you progress through your spiritual journey – you most likely will find that your daily rituals just becomes a way of life.  Rather than being something forced to be done at or by a particular time.

When you begin creating a morning or evening ritual, I suggest that you stop doing something if it’s not bringing you into alignment, providing a sense of peacefulness or joy.  Give it a month to see if it aligns to what you are needing or wanting Eg.  If you want to add intuitive dance into your daily routine, but you find yourself having to drag yourself to do it and by the end of it you’re not really feeling much more centered post dancing; then perhaps it’s not what you’re needing in your life right now.  That may change over the months or years.  But always tap into your soul to see if something is right for you.

By focusing on just one new habit or change, it allows you to create a cadence and relationship with it.  For example, I chose to meditate daily whether that be 15 minutes or 45 minutes.  However, right now I’m not too focused on working out.  I go to the gym in the mornings before work, however it’s not a MUST for me.  It’s something I tap into and see if it’s something I feel connected to doing. 

Regarding food, I chose to eat healthy pretty much 80% of the time.  However, I’m not the type of girl to turn down ice cream, pasta or pizza if it’s on the cards for that day!

The most important thing in creating alignment in your life is to connect with your soul and feel into what is a priority for you.  No one else can dictate that but you.

Do You Tend To Give Up?

When I was visiting Bali 2 years ago, I sat in the restaurant of the hotel each morning for breakfast.  And each morning I would watch the employees use a long broom to sweep away these nests that had been built around the exterior of the building by the local birds.  And yet, the next morning, the birds had rebuilt their nests, their homes, yet again.

Imagine being that bird each day. 

Do you think it feels defeated?  Deflated? As though the Universe is out to get it?


That’s the beauty of nature.  Whether it’s birds building their nests.  Spiders rebuilding their webs.  Or trees growing after a fire.

Nature doesn’t care that it has to start from scratch.

It simply just ‘is’

And nature always finds it’s way

And you, my friend, are part of the natural world

So next time you want to give up, and throw in the towel

Remember that we are part of this amazing Universe and even if you have to start from scratch.  You can and you will rebuild.

How do you tap into this energy and use it to power you to move forward?  Firstly, you need to tap into your Soul and check as to whether it is for you or not.  Sometimes, failure is pointing us down another route.  Other times, failure is the Universe checking in to see just how much we want something.

So check in with your Soul, because only you can know your Truth.

Then decide on your path by setting a clear intention.  What do you want to allow to flow through?  What actions are you willing to do?

Because, you see, nature doesn’t just sit back and wait for the Universe to create for it.  No, nature takes action to rebuild and create it’s own reality.  That is all the joy of being part of this beautiful physical world. 

Then, ask yourself how would you feel once you had achieved your goal?  What would you see? Would your environment be different?  What can you hear people saying to you?

Keep that vision in your mind each day

And each day work towards making that your reality

As you begin to create your reality, your new reality will shift and expand

Be Authentically You!

(Without Being An As*Hole)

Being authentically you is so important.  It allows you to align a lot of your energy centers.  Especially the 5th energy centre for women, where being able to speak our truth has often been squashed or diminished.

It provides us the opportunity to create expansion in our lives. The more aligned you are to your authentic self, your light can shine brighter. Also, your path unfolds with more ease and flow.

I’ve seen people confuse being authentically themselves to meaning that they can call out others who are not on their same path.  Whether it is for someone’s dietary decisions, their school of thought, their choice of clothing brands and/ or their political views.

I have literally seen people take it as a personal offence when someone makes a decision in their own life and then ridicule them or tell them off.

This form of diminishing another person’s light is not aligned to our soulful values

It is a repetition of history and most likely behaviour that the persecutors themselves have experienced and have previously overcome

But now, they feel the need to use their power to diminish or lesson someone else’s decisions

It’s tragic, because most of those persecuting others have experienced public shaming and ridicule and yet continue this pattern by extending the same behaviour to others.

There is power in past experiences.  We can either learn from it.  Or repeat it.  Whether it be experiences from history or from our childhood. 

The choice is yours

You have no control over anyone except for yourself.  And even that, most people struggle with.

All I’m saying is, don’t be so quick to judge.  Lean into compassion.  Take a deep breath and focus on shining your own light, rather than diminishing another.

Why I Read Fictional Books

How can a book about dragons, witches or secret powers inspire me in my business and life?

How can a book set in the Australian suburbs make me want to be a better person? 

In all of the books that I read, fictional books still inspire me the most. 

The characters of the books show me where decisions can lead them.  How having passion and energy can help you complete any feat.  It causes a bodily reaction where my mind’s eye is activated and my visualisation muscles are enhanced.

So what does this mean for you? Most of us are wanting to read the top 10 Forbes business books or the latest from Hay House, yet forget that books based around fiction have so much to teach us as well.

When you read a fictional book you can put yourself into someone else’s shoes and perhaps empathise as to where someone got their beliefs or perceptions in life from.  Or maybe it gives you an insight into what life will be like if you continue doing the same old thing without recognising you’re meant for more or something different.

When you use your imagination, you’re building up your visualisation muscles and this will help you create the life of your dreams.  The life that you’re wanting to create.  It will inspire you into action.  You will be able to experience new experiences without any real consequence. 

These new insights don’t have to be powerful. They just have to be able to raise your vibrations to a state that excites your mind and gets you thinking and flowing into a new or better way of living.

Once that has happened, you are assisting your mind and body to create change.

Self Love Meditation Script

Self love is so important.  It provides us the guiding map to what we accept and attract in our life experience.  It can produce feeling of happiness and move you towards creating a life that is positive and feeds into your soul journey. 

My most popular meditation on Insight Timer is the ‘Self Love’ Meditation and it has produced great inner results for people.  Maybe they smiled more that day.  Laughted more with friends or starting taking actions to their goals.  As a result, I wanted to share the script with you so perhaps you can create your own meditation or just sit and reflect on the words and allow yourself to be immersed in it.

Let’s begin.

Can you sit up straight, hands resting in your lap, spine is straight.  As we begin let’s take a few deep slow breaths, drawing air in through your nose and out through your nose.  Take some time to pour love into you.  Understand that you are worthy of every single blessing that’s on it’s way to you.  Be free from any distractions, any concerns, anything about the physical world around you.  This time and space is about you.  Relax.  Nothing else matters right now except for you own gift to love yourself.

Feel your body.  Relax into your body.  Feel your breath as it goes in and out through your nose.  Feel the presence of love spreading through your mind and your muscles.  From the souls of your feet, your calves, wrapping around your knees, your thighs, making it’s way around your hips, your tummy, spreading up to your heart – slow down your heart rate, allow the love to continue down your arms, through to your hands, your fingers, feel it’s warmth around your neck, your jaw, your lips, your eye socket, your eye brows and finally shooting up through the crown of your head.

Enjoy the feeling of lightness.  Take a deep breath in and out.

Move into a place within you, resting at your heart centre.  Allow the worries of the world to slip away, falling off the left and right side of your body.  Feel your energy vibrate higher, faster into this beautiful state of self love.

Imagine being protected by this love.  Feel the energy around your entire body.  Accept it with ease and grace.  Release any negative thoughts about past decisions, past experiences and past concerns.  In this moment, love yourself just as you are.  In this moment, you are your truest and most authentic self.  Know that you can create your own future.

Feel your body.  Relax into your body.

In your mind repeat the following affirmations:

I love the person I am today.

I love the person I am today.

I love the person I am today.

Bring your attention back to your breath.  Your heart centre.

I approach challenges with strength and eagerness

I approach challenges with strength and eagerness

Now visualise yourself standing in front of a mirror and look into your own eyes.  Do you see your own beauty?  Your inner courage?  Your joy?

Tell yourself:  “I love you”, “You are worthy of happiness”.

Visualise love pouring out of your heart and your hands. Feel it’s warmth filling your entire body.  Feel a sense of calmness allow this sensation to surround you from head to toe.  Breathe in and out through your nose.  Know that love is always available to you.

***1 minute silence***

When you’re ready take a few more deep breaths in and out through your nose.  Let this unique experience sink into every cell of your body.  Tune back into your physical being.  When you are ready you can wiggle your toes, your fingers.  Gently open your eyes.
